I love to paint people and places with exuberant, confident brushwork. After more than twenty years of teaching art and working in the field, I find myself most at home when I’m working with vibrant, expressive paint and color that sings, hums, or bursts into a kind of visual chorus rich with rhythm, sound, and texture.
This musical play of color creates a magical unfolding of images for me. I am drawn to the way painting can feel both intuitive and intentional—how suggestion and gesture can carry just as much weight as detail. My work often lives in that space: suggestive, implied, and gently infused with fantasy, leaving room for the viewer to imagine, dream, or remember their own experiences within it.
I believe people connect with my paintings because they echo something familiar—something they have lived, felt, or long for. Each piece is an invitation to pause, slow down, and enjoy the act of seeing. As both an artist and a mother of two boys, I value curiosity, warmth, and imagination deeply in my daily life and in my studio practice. I am confident that as you move through this historical hallway of the beautiful Eulalia Building, you will find a quiet community of magic, reflection, and shared human experience within the work.
